Jess is an illustrator and writer living in Torquay, Devon. She works from her home studio and likes drawing in her sketchbooks, reading, playing video games and watching cartoons with her son. In 2021 she won a Blue Peter Book Award for her work on A Day in the Life of a Poo, a Gnu and You. She is a regular contributor to The Phoenix Comic and the Beano.

Her clients include David Fickling Books, Hachette, Macmillan, Buster Books, Arcturus Publishing, DC Thomson, Capstone, RSPB and RNLI.
